Aria Knutson is an artist and photographer in the Leavenworth area. She has grown up in Seattle and Leavenworth. Learning how to ski in Leavenworth when Aria was really young got her closer to the Cascade Mountains. It wasn’t up until two years ago that she started painting them.

Aria won 1st place in the Washington State Photography Architecture division during the year of 2021. This propelled her to start thinking herself as more of a serious artist.

After dipping her toes in digital photography, Aria got very passionate about developing her own black and white photos. She still was not able to capture the beauty that she desired in art. After experimenting with photography, Aria turned to painting.

Most of Aria’s work encompasses landmarks within the Pacific Northwest. This focus reflects her passion for hiking, climbing, biking, and skiing in the outdoors.
