Napiqua Gibbs – 2025 Recipient

Hello! I’m Napiqua Gibbs and I have resided in Leavenworth for my entire life. I will be attending the University of Washington in Seattle, and I plan to major in Psychology and minor in Drama (Design for Performance) with a focus on set design. From fingerpainting at Mountain Sprouts with Mia Dreis to designing sets for the CHS Drama Club and working for my aunt and uncle painting signs and murals at Gibbs Graphics, art has been an integral part of my life for years.

The Village Art in the Park Scholarship means more to me than I can express. It will help me pursue my goals in higher education by helping pay for my tuition and other expenses.
