Eleanor Holm – 2024 Recipient

My name is Eleanor Holm and I was born and raised right here in Leavenworth, Washington. Art has always had a huge impact on my life, whether in the form of literature, ballet, or drawing. During my high school career I developed a deep passion for art history, which was fueled by a family trip to Italy in 2023. I will be attending John Cabot University in Rome in the fall of 2024, where I plan to major in Art history, focusing on renaissance and baroque art and architecture, while minoring in either classics, literature, or philosophy.

It is impossible to express my gratitude in receiving the Art in the Park Scholarship. The money I receive will go towards paying my tuition at John Cabot University, opening up funds for me to explore the culture and art of the historic city I will be living in. Art in the Park has alway been integral to the Leavenworth community and I have countless memories of wandering the stalls in the summer and conversing with all manners of wonderful artists. I am honored to be connected to such a great organization and I hope I can live up to the standard of community, beauty, and quality that Art in the Park brings into the world.
