Alex Warman – 2024 Recipient

Hello, my name is Alex. I was raised in Lynnwood but due to… let’s say a family emergency, I moved to Leavenworth to live with the other part of my family. I have spent the last 4 years learning digital art. That includes image creation/modification with Photoshop, 3D modeling in Blender, creating game levels/maps in the Hammer Editor, and much more. I very much love what I do, so much so that I’m going to Digipen Institute of Technology to study just those things to make a full fledged game.

This money graciously provided to me will go towards funding my housing and allow me to live in college owned housing in Redmond. It will be a huge help and I am very fortunate to have received it, I believe it will be essential for aiding me in my higher education! I am very happy and I thank Village Art in the Park for their massive help!
