The Village Art in the Park Scholarship Program was started in the 1980s and supports local artists who aspire to attain an art degree at an institute of higher learning.

This scholarship is available to graduating seniors from Cascade High School and the Discovery School, as well as adults residing in the Cascade School District who are entering the educational community with the intent of earning a degree in art.

At the discretion of the Board of Directors, this scholarship will be awarded to one or more individuals annually who are seeking an education in an art related field, i.e. visual, performing, theatrical, design, graphic arts, etc. The value of the scholarship is $2500 per year, renewable annually up to a possible total of $10,000 per recipient.
