Phase 2: when will it arrive?

The short answer: Nobody knows.

Although Governor Inslee hasn’t yet made it official, Chelan County will likely not be granted access into Phase 2 on June 1 as hoped. In order to be eligible for Phase 2 a county must have fewer than 10 cases per 100,000 people in a 14-day span, and Chelan County doesn’t make the cut.

I expect that the announcement will come on Friday, May 29. And it’s likely that no new Phase 2 date will be set – that will depend on our COVID numbers going forward.
