Sienna Dawn uses paint as a vehicle for self-discovery of the body, mind, spirit, and the natural world. Bright colors become therapeutic while living in the gray of the Pacific Northwest. Inspired by the rhythmic patterns that can be found in each living form and element, she uses photography of her outdoor adventures to create paintings that are dynamic and relational.
Dawn studied graphic design and painting at Montana State University in Bozeman. She moved to Seattle in 2010, where she supported the creative community through festival production and gallery curation. Dawn now resides in Bellingham, where she does graphic design and sells her art at Synapse Studio & Gallery.
