Enriched Education 2.0

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our usual Enriched Education model wouldn’t reach all of the children it was designed to. A large percentage of our Cascade School District (CSD) students are not in the classroom this year but are completing their 20/21 school year in a fully online or an online/ in-class hybrid model.

Teachers within the Cascade School District have had to make a quick and, in most cases, complete jump into an online teaching situation.

In an effort to alleviate some of the stresses put on to teachers in this very abnormal school year and to help bring the joy of art to all of the CSD students, up to 85 mini-grants of $100 will be awarded to all CSD teachers who apply.

The funds may be used to purchase supplies used for an art project during the 20/21 school year. We are excited to see how these mini-grants will bring art into the classrooms, both in person and virtually.

If you are a Cascade School District teacher who would like to apply, please complete this simple application form by January 8th. Funds will be awarded in mid to late January.

Are you looking for ideas or inspiration on how to incorporate art into your subject matter? Here are some great resources and loads of possible projects.

Please share the outcome of your grant! A brief summary would be great and we’d love to see pictures if you’ve got them.
